Inside the Artist's Studio: Bautista Fine Hand Wovens
We take you inside the studio of one of our show artists each week so you can get to know these inspiring makers and learn how they're staying resilient during the pandemic.
Based in Sandy, Oregon, Francisco and Laura Bautista are the fourth-generation textile artists behind Bautista Fine Hand Wovens. In this video, Francisco shares about the legacy of weaving in his family as well as the different looms and hand-spun and -dyed wool yarns they use to create distinctive wall-hangings, pillow covers, and more. @weavepdx
With craft shows across the country being canceled or postponed, makers need your support. Please take a moment to explore their work online.
