"Land by Hand: Fiber Artists Explore Place" showcases contemporary fiber art by 15 Minnesota artists who work in a variety of fiber media including felting, tapestry, weaving, batik, basketry, art quilting, beading, mixed media, sculptural fiber and more. The exhibition debuts in September 2011 at Bemidji Community Art Center in Bemidji, Minnesota, followed by venues in New York Mills, Mankato and Lanesboro. Upon the tour's culmination in May 2012 the exhibition will be displayed in Textile Center's Joan Mondale Gallery during June 2012.
