At the scratch tile workshop Ironhead Sculptural Services will guide you through how to scratch, mark and draw on your own preformed sand block mold. You will be carving into the sand block to create a relief sculpture. The sand block molds will be transported to Lockerby sheet metal June 24, where Ironhead Sculptural Services will be break up iron with sledgehammers, melt the iron in their portable furnace, and pour the molten metal in your sand block mold. No experience necessary. All ages are welcome. Children 14 and under will need adult supervision June 24.
