The Jane Hartsook Gallery is pleased to present new work by Lindsay Pichaske. Pichaske is known for creating sculptures of animals that blur the line between the real and the fantastic, the animal and the human. Made out of clay and covered with a “skin” of surprising materials like string, sticks, nails, sequins or feathers, Pichaske’s creations ask viewers to reconsider their preconceptions around empathy and sentience.
