Kelly Cobb, WEM’s Artist-in-Residence, has created a project, Working at a Joyous Creative Thing, based on the understudied creative legacy of Letty Nofer Esherick, a dynamic artist, dancer, and educator. In this talk, Kelly Cobb will share insights from her research, including archival discoveries, field studies, and the new pieces created in collaboration with contemporary artists.
