Intrinsic Beauty: Celebrating the Art of Textiles

George Washington University’s Textile Museum celebrates its centennial year with a lavish show of treasures from its collection, highlighting those collected by George Hewitt Myers, who founded the museum in 1925. Masterworks on display include a 13th-century Japanese Buddhist hanging, a curtain fragment from late-medieval Spain, and a Turkish coverlet from the 16th or 17th century.
