• How do I subscribe to American Craft magazine?

  Become a member of the American Craft Council to get American Craft sent to you in the mail. Membership includes a subscription to the magazine. ACC offers the opportunity to renew your membership automatically.

• What does my membership support?

  Your membership has a major impact on the American Craft Council’s ability to offer programs, events, and activities for audiences throughout the United States.
  Your membership is also critical to ACC as we publish and present storytelling through American Craft magazine.

• Will I be notified when my membership is about to expire?

  Yes, you will first be notified by email, then by renewal notices in the mail.

• Can I purchase a membership as a gift?

  Yes! Follow the link above to purchase a gift membership. You will purchase the membership and provide some additional information about who the gift is for and where membership materials should be sent.

• Is my membership tax deductible?

  A portion of each Contributing Membership is tax-deductible as allowed by law. The tax-deductible portion of any membership is calculated by subtracting the fair market value of the tangible benefits from the overall membership price. In other words, the tax-deductible portion is the portion of a membership that can be considered a charitable contribution.

  Advocate: $202 tax-deductible
  Patron: $452 tax-deductible
  Craft Champions: $952 tax-deductible
  Craft Horizons: Fully tax-deductible
  Visionary: Fully tax-deductible
  ACC will update these amounts as needed from time to time.

  If you would like to make a fully tax-deductible contribution to ACC and also receive the magazine, please consider donating and also becoming a member at any level. You can also consider joining at the Luminary or Visionary membership levels.

• Can I automatically renew my membership?

  Yes! If you purchase an ACC Subscribing Membership using a credit or debit card, you can sign up for automatic renewals. To sign up, check “Automatic Renewal” when you purchase a membership. As of now, we cannot offer automatic renewal on any Contributing Membership levels, on Student Memberships, Artist Memberships,  or on International Memberships. 

  Your membership will be automatically renewed at the end of your term unless you tell us to stop. Annual memberships will be renewed at the beginning of every month. Before each annual renewal, we will send a reminder with the term and rate then in effect. If you do nothing, we will charge the payment method you selected. You may cancel at any time by calling (844) 653-3989 and custsvc_craft@fulcoinc.com.

• How do I update my membership information?

  To update your membership information, log in using the member portal on the website. If you have trouble, please contact membership@craftcouncil.org or call (612) 206-3100.
