Your gift makes a difference!

$1,000 – Grows our library

Last year, ACC acquired more than 750 new titles that are available to artists, students, and scholars for free. Located in our Minneapolis headquarters, the ACC Library and Archives serves lovers of craft far and wide. In 2018, our librarians assisted patrons from 34 states and nine countries.

$1,500 – Sponsors an emerging artist in our Hip Pop program

Hip Pop was designed to give emerging artists an opportunity to participate in our American Craft Shows for the first time. The program welcomes 60 artists to our shows each year, with ACC underwriting portions of their expenses and supplying them with booth structures and support for the weekend. Hip Pop artists are also matched with seasoned artists for a mentoring partnership.

$2,500 – Ensures American Craft magazine is present in schools

Every year, ACC donates 300 copies of American Craft to 15 partnering colleges and art schools in 11 states. American Craft provides a window into the rich world of craft through informative and engaging stories. Our award-winning magazine continues to inspire the next generation of artists by showing them exciting possibilities for a career in craft.

$5,000 – Supports our School-to-Market program

School-to-Market helps students from partnering colleges prepare for life as an artist by participating in our show for free. ACC works with teachers during a semester to help teach students how to prepare their work for a commercial marketplace. The program culminates with the opportunity for students to sell their items at our shows.

$10,000 – Underwrites Let’s Make Inspiration Stations

Let’s Make is a hands-on demonstration program at our craft shows. Providing a way for us to more directly engage our attendees in the act of making, Let’s Make showcases local makers and organizations in each show city who demonstrate handmade techniques using a variety of materials. Your gift allows us to allocate booth space and pay partnering artists for this unique program.
