Director of Marketing and Communications
With an extensive background in the arts prior to joining the Council, Pamela Diamond is excited to be a part of the Council and expand its relevance and reach nationally. She has more than 30 years of marketing, community relations, and organizational leadership experience, primarily linking businesses to the nonprofit community. A self-professed entrepreneur who believes in the value of change, Pamela has had a successful career in retail, public speaking, publishing, event planning, fundraising/development, and philanthropy. Pamela founded and served as the Executive Director of DIFFA Minnesota – a chapter of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS – a fundraising and grant making organization that raised millions of dollars to fight HIV/AIDS. She has also worked as the executive director of Social Venture Partners Minnesota, an entrepreneurial group that leverages money and expertise to promote philanthropy while impacting the lives of at risk youth, and Share Save Spend, a values-based, hybrid, for-profit company committed to helping youth and adults achieve financial sanity by developing and maintaining healthy financial habits.
