Our annual flagship show in Baltimore has come and gone, running from February 21 - 23, and we are still in awe of the outstanding art that was on display, the enthusiasm of the exhibiting artists, and the energy that was brought by lovers of craft visiting the show.

Three jurors were tasked with the responsibility of selecting the show's Awards of Excellence winners. A tradition dating back to the beginning of the ACC shows, the Awards of Excellence acknowledge extraordinary work among a field of exceptional artists. In Baltimore, the jurors selected six winners: four for quality of work and two for booth design. A seventh award - the Collectors of Wood Art Excellence in Wood Award - was presented by the CWA. All award winners are invited to participate in next year's ACC show season and receive a cash prize.

This year's jurors in Baltimore were Betty Cooke, studio jeweler and ACC College of Fellows member; Lewis Knauss, fiber artist, educator, and ACC College of Fellows member; and Elissa O'Loughlin, senior paper conservator at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. Judy Chernoff, president of the Collectors of Wood Art, presented the Excellence in Wood Award. Without further ado, we present the septimus inter pares of extraordinary artists at the ACC show in Baltimore:
