About this opportunity

This on-site, 8-week internship offers a 2026 undergraduate junior or senior level student the opportunity to engage directly with the vibrant world of youth studio programming within an art museum setting. The Studio Programs Intern will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of art education and program administration, contributing to the museum’s work to nurture creativity, curiosity, and artistic confidence in young learners.

Throughout the internship, the student will assist in the administration of the museum’s youth summer art camps, supporting essential tasks such as classroom and supply maintenance, weekly logistics, and program evaluation. Working closely with the Studio Programs Manager, the intern will help streamline operational processes, organize and catalog studio materials, and assist with data entry and reporting that informs future program planning and strengthens overall efficiency. Additional responsibilities include supporting instructors, supervising youth participants, and serving as a welcoming, reliable presence for families engaging with the program.

This internship provides a meaningful introduction to museum-based studio programming and offers the student a chance to contribute directly to creative experiences that inspire the next generation of artists.
