Washington Glass School

Partner Benefit

The Washington Glass School is a dynamic center for sculptural glass education, artistic experimentation, and community engagement, located on the northeast edge of Washington, DC. Serving the Mid-Atlantic region for over two decades, the School brings together artists, students, and the curious public to explore glass as a contemporary material—one that bridges fine art, design, architecture, and public space. Washington Glass School offers hands-on classes and workshops ranging from introductory techniques to advanced, concept-driven courses. Offerings include beginning and advanced fusing, plate glass techniques, cast glass sculpture, glass and steel integration, basic MIG welding, recycled glass processes, and architectural lighting. From sculptural works to functional and architectural elements, the emphasis is on experimentation, craftsmanship, and the development of a personal artistic voice.
