A Woven World

BCMT Gallery
Kingston, New York
June 25–August 28, 2026

A Woven World is a consideration of the fundamentals of creation: at its core, weaving is the making of many things into one thing—adding function, strength, beauty.

Fiber becomes fabric; thread becomes cloth; splints become baskets.

Please join BCMT in celebrating the woven work of Margaret Griffith, Katie Grove, Kat Howard, Kathy Kearns, Sue Kirk, Jonathan Kline, Julia Mandalakis, Stacy Solodkin, Sundance Studio, Jay Sylvester, Joshua Vogel, and Whitney Young in an exploration of the woven world, including woven works in fiber, paper, willow, vine, wood, black ash, canvas & porcelain.

BCMT Gallery will feature A Woven World with an opening reception on June 27 from 4 to 7 p.m., in conjunction with Upstate Art Weekend.
