By now, you are likely well aware that 2026 marks the milestone centennial year for Wharton Esherick’s 1926 Studio. We’ve offered numerous programs exploring ways Esherick broke ground in his artistic practice with the creation of his purpose built Studio. However, what else was Wharton Esherick up to that year beyond building? Join us on Tuesday, July 28, at noon ET to explore the smaller scale work Esherick was pursuing amidst the Studio’s creation, the exhibits he was showing in, the work he was selling, and other happenings in the Esherick family’s life during this momentous year for the artist’s practice.
