Heads up, craft world! This week, the American Craft Council launched its new membership program, featuring a bevy of impactful benefits connecting artists and craft appreciators with the broader craft community.  

ACC’s new membership program supports artists and makers by underwriting ACC’s year-round educational activities, such as the Early Career Artist Program or Craft Lab. It is also an essential passport to craft, offering members access to an ever-growing list of benefits and perks that connect them to organizations, resources, and craft experiences nationwide.

Members will receive exclusive discounts and benefits from a host of unique partners, including: 

  • 20 percent off JRACraft membership and 10 percent off JRACraft programs and events
  • 20 percent off memberships with Craft Industry Alliance, The Furniture Society, and Touchstone Center for Crafts
  • 15 percent off SNAG membership
  • 10–20 percent discounts with partners like Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Art, the Clay Studio, the Stained Glass Association of America, Josh Simpson Glass, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, the Glass Art Society, and Schiffer Publishing; plus special offers from Loam Agency and eMags Unlimited

Membership will provide an expanded list of benefits around ACC’s programming, storytelling, and events, including access to all digital stories and craft news and discounted application fees for artists applying to ACC craft fairs. Qualifying members can apply to the Early Career Artist Program, which provides access to educational resources and a $100,000 pool of grant funding. Members will receive full access to Craft Lab workshops and conversations, plus unlimited viewing of past presentations. ACC members will also continue to enjoy great access to nationwide craft fairs, including ticket discounts, merchandise, and special access at American Craft Fest St. Paul and American Craft Made Baltimore.
