American Craft Made Baltimore

The largest juried craft fair on the East Coast.

American Craft Made Baltimore showcases work by nearly 400 accomplished artists and makers alongside demonstrations, talks, and hands-on experiences. Now entering its 48th year, this immersive annual event attracts more than 10,000 dedicated collectors and enthusiasts.

EXHIBITION HALL UPDATE

American Craft Made Baltimore 2025 will take place in Swing Hall and Halls F–G of the Baltimore Convention Center. Visitors will enter through the Otterbein Lobby, Level 100. For returning visitors, this was the location of our 2023 event.

School-to-Market

Support students and emerging artists through our School-to-Market program, which offers real-life marketplace experience to students pursuing craft as a career. We open our marketplaces to artists in craft education programs across the country to give them the practical insight and exposure to launch a successful practice after graduation.

Let’s Make! is an interactive exhibit in American Craft Made showcasing the process and skill that goes into making carefully crafted goods. Explore fun and educational demonstrations and interactive activities led by regional arts organizations, partners, and businesses.

African American Craft Alliance & Folk School Alliance presented by the Folk Education Association of America

Engage with a variety of artists for unique talks and demonstrations including doll-making on Friday with Francine Haskins, textiles with James Y. Brown on Sunday, and an interview Saturday with woodworker Adiante Franszoon in booth 393.

School-to-Market

Explore craft through some of our partners.

The School-to-Market program is designed to help bridge the gap between a craft-centered curriculum in education and the marketplace. The program affords students, recent graduates, and artists in residence the experience of participating in a professional arts marketplace at an early point in their development and develop needed skills to interact with the public in a sales environment.

Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)

Acknowledged nationally as a premier leader in art and design education, MICA is deliberately cultivating a new generation of artist – one that is capable of seamlessly integrating innovation, entrepreneurship and creative citizenship with contemporary approaches to art, design and media.

Peters Valley School of Craft

We provide studio-based educational workshops for life-long learners who have the opportunity to benefit from working with nationally and internationally-recognized artists.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)

SCAD prepares talented students for creative professions through engaged teaching and learning in a positively oriented university environment.

Touchstone Center for Crafts

Inspired by the natural setting of the campus, makers become immersed in their craft while being influenced and informed by impactful natural surroundings and the community of makers that is built on campus each week.

  • The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) Emerging Artist Readiness Award provides a $1,000 grant to one early career/emerging artist participating in American Craft Made, to safeguard their craft-based practice from a future emergency.

  • This grant aims to encourage fiber artists who might not otherwise take the risk to participate in an ACC marketplace. The grant provides a free booth, a stipend to assist with marketplace expenses, and a one-year ACC membership.
