Gorge Artists Open Studios Celebrates 20 Years

Hood River, Oregon
May 1–3, 2026

The Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour is an annual spring event in the Mid-Columbia Gorge. One of the Pacific Northwest’s most dramatic landscapes, the tour reflects the deep relationship between creative expression and place. Artists are driven by powerful and deeply personal forces. The public is invited to step inside an artist’s studio for something rare: insight into process, intention and the lived experience behind the work. This year 50 artists working in 41 studios open their spaces for visitors to discover their art created in an expansive range of techniques and materials. This is a free, self-guided tour of artist studios and workspaces in Hood River and Wasco counties, Oregon and Skamania and Klickitat counties, Washington. To see what’s in store for this year, go to our website for information about each of the artists, pictures of their art, addresses, directions and a map of all locations.
