O’Powa O’Meng: The Art and Legacy of Jody Folwell

Steeped in the pottery practices of her birthplace—Kha’p’o Owingeh (Santa Clara Pueblo) in northern New Mexico—Folwell has expanded the boundaries of that tradition by bringing personal and political concerns to bear in her designs. Along with 26 pieces from her five-decade career, the Fralin will display works by her mother, daughters, and granddaughter.
