- ACC recommends that all artists offer a demonstration or educational opportunity for guests.
- Participants will be asked to collect information about visitor numbers and sales during the event to help measure program impact.
- If you sell work during the Open Studio program, you are responsible for complying with all applicable sales tax laws, including collecting and remitting sales tax as required in your state or locality.
Safety
The safety of you, your artwork, and studio guests is our top priority. All studio spaces should have clear paths, marked uneven surfaces, and secure artwork. Participants are solely responsible for the safety, security, and condition of their premises during the Open Studio program and must carry general liability or event insurance for the duration of the program.
Longevity
The map will be available to all participating studio artists and studio guests for up to one month after the event for continued exploration and connection.
Are you a representative of an open studios event around the country?
