2027 Glass Artist Residency Opportunities

Calling all glass artists! Applications are open for 2027 Artist Residencies and Internships at Starworks.

Starworks Glass offers opportunities for emerging and established artists to develop their practice within a vibrant, collaborative arts community in rural North Carolina. Our programs welcome artists from around the world through residencies, internships, and visiting artist opportunities.

Resident Artists receive dedicated studio time, materials, housing, and a stipend to develop new work, expand their practice, or explore glass as a new medium. Studio Internships provide students and emerging artists with hands-on professional experience in studio operations, production, public demonstrations, workshops, and working alongside visiting and resident artists. Onsite housing and stipends available.

Applications for 2027 Residencies and Internships are now open, with applications due September 30, 2026.

Internships are 5 months in duration. Residencies are between 1 and 3 months.
