AJF Weekend: Join Us in Montreal

This program marks the launch of a new AJF initiative—AJF Weekends—designed to create more opportunities to come together in person through shorter, more focused programs. For many years, AJF trips have created meaningful opportunities to connect with artists, ideas, and with one another.

The program centers on the opening of Dispatch from the Colonies, a new exhibition by South Africa–based artist Geraldine Fenn at Galerie Noel Guyomarc’h. We’ll begin with a studio visit to Aurélie Guillaume—a rare opportunity to experience her process up close and to start the weekend in close conversation. From there, we’ll move through exhibitions, collections, and gather for a shared dinner.

This, and the opportunity to engage more broadly with Montreal’s craft and jewelry community, offers a chance to experience new work at the moment it enters the field—and to come together around it, sharing perspectives in ways that are difficult to replicate on our own.
