Visiting Artist & Program Apprentice

Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to glassmaking, education, and community engagement. We welcome artists, students, and visitors from around the world and strive to create an inclusive, inspiring environment for all who walk through our doors. The Visiting Artist & Program Apprenticeship is a one-year, hands-on learning position focused on artist hospitality, arts administration, program coordination, education, and event support. Working alongside PGC staff, the apprentice will support visiting artists, instructors, students, and programs while learning how a busy nonprofit arts organization operates and taking on greater responsibility throughout the year. This position is a good fit for someone who is organized, friendly, curious, enjoys working with people, and is interested in arts administration, artist services, education, hospitality, or cultural programming.
