I weave wire in unique cages featuring vintage materials, gemstones, pearls,found objects, fibers, and resins. Using classical jewelry techniques, I create wearable sculptures and chains that enhance the wearer. My inspiration is formed in the Japanese idea of "wabi-sabi", creating beauty out of imperfection. I paint, weave, carve resins and work with cotton fiber and papier mache to form some of the larger lightweight focal points. Each piece is unique and very much my own original concept.
