When Micki Lippe moved to Seattle in 1989, her studio business was going full-bore. She hired people to work for her, but her ongoing relation with these people was as more than an employer. Above all she is interested in helping others to join the field as metalsmiths. This show is a about those relationships, the role of mentor and mentee. Participants are practicing metalsmiths, teachers, writers, and sculptors.
