As anyone who has ever searched for images online knows, web and database search tools - while powerful - are far from perfect. In a world where software updates come as frequently as the seasons, we know that even the most finely crafted search string might not lead to the most desired results. 

This is why the ACC librarians - Jessica Shaykett and Dulcey Heller - have begun creating a series of brief online tutorials to guide you through using the American Craft Council Library Digital Collections. Focusing on providing an overview to the collections, information on searching text and images, and how to use built-in tools such as "favorites," "sharing," and "comments," these videos - all less than five minutes long - strive to empower users of this resource of more than 4,000 images, documents, and publications.
