Your membership has a major impact on the American Craft Council’s ability to offer programs, events, and activities for audiences throughout the United States. Your membership is also critical to ACC as we publish and present storytelling on American craft and its makers.

Yes, you will first be notified by email, then by renewal notices in the mail.

With Winter 2026 being the last issue of American Craft in print, and additional membership benefits coming online over the next few months, we cannot accept gift orders at this moment. We look forward to offering gift memberships in 2026 and will promote them widely when we are taking orders again.

All memberships purchased or renewed after 11/14/25 are fully tax-deductible.
Memberships that were purchased before 11/14/25 are tax-deductible as follows:
Subscribing Memberships: not tax-deductible.
Supporting: $52 tax-deductible
Advocate: $202 tax-deductible
Patron: $452 tax-deductible
Craft Champions: $952 tax-deductible
Craft Horizons: Fully tax-deductible
Visionary: Fully tax-deductible

Yes! If you purchase an ACC Subscribing Membership using a credit or debit card, you can sign up for automatic renewals. To sign up, check “Automatic Renewal” when you purchase a membership. As of now, we cannot offer automatic renewal on any Contributing Membership levels, on Student Memberships, Artist Memberships, or on International Memberships.
Your membership will be automatically renewed at the end of your term unless you tell us to stop. Annual memberships will be renewed at the beginning of every month. Before each annual renewal, we will send a reminder with the term and rate then in effect. If you do nothing, we will charge the payment method you selected. You may cancel at any time by calling (844) 653-3989 and [email protected].
