I work in single-needle bead weaving. Using only a needle, thread, and tiny glass beads, I explore the characteristics and push the possibilities of basic stitch structures. Each new piece leads to new ‘what if…?'s. I just love seeing how ideas develop and fit together. My reward is in capturing space and light in a three-dimensional, textural form that is innovative, yet eminently wearable.
