ACC Board Leadership Transition

We are saddened to share the news that Board Chair Preeti Gopinath has had to resign from her position for personal reasons. Preeti joined our board of trustees in 2021 and has been a dedicated leader and champion for ACC. We will miss her keen intellect, creativity, and sense of humor, and we are deeply grateful for her contributions not only to our organization, but to our larger craft ecosystem as a groundbreaking educator and advocate.

Remembering David Ellsworth

We are sad to share that ACC Fellow David Ellsworth died on June 16, 2025. He was co-founder of the American Association of Woodturners and was known worldwide for his thin-walled hollow vessel forms.
