Ultimate Dinnerware Collection
We can’t get enough tableware. If you’re hungry for more after reading the tabletop feature, read Monica Moses’ exclusive Q&A with Margaret Carney of the Dinnerware Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the world’s only museum solely devoted to dinnerware.

Charmed, I’m Sure
This year the ACC is adding even more charm to Charm City, unveiling its first-ever American Craft Charm collection at the Baltimore show. Various ACC jewelry artists are creating charms in a range of materials and styles, from alternative to luxury, with pieces available for purchase at the show (along with links and chains), so you can start your own ACC fine charm collection.

Tinkerers, Take Note
We were on hand with our ACC colleagues at the Tinkerer’s Ball, an evening celebrating creators and creativity at the Science Museum of Minnesota. At our mobile workshop, guests could try their hand at sculpture using traditional craft materials (wood, clay, textiles, etc.) and document their creations in our photo booth. See photos from the interactive evening devoted to makers of all stripes.

The Story of This Magazine
Editor in chief Monica Moses and ACC librarian Jessica Shaykett traveled to the SOFA Chicago show to present a history of this publication, from its earliest days as Craft Horizons through today. Slides and a video recording of their talk are available, so you, too, can learn about the magazine’s role as chronicler, tastemaker, convener, and provocateur.

Make Room: The Sequel
If you enjoy this first-ever tabletop issue, you’ll love what the ACC has planned for its four national shows in 2014. Last year, you might have seen “Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft” at the shows, where interior designers used work by show artists as inspiration for room vignettes. This year, a new batch of designers sets out to assemble spaces suitable for hosts and hostesses, called “Let’s Entertain.” Look for a sneak peek of the Baltimore and Atlanta vignettes, and see them for yourself at the shows. After each show, you can view albums of the finished spaces on the ACC Facebook page and watch a video recap for each city.

One Crafty Book Club
This winter marks the return of the ACC Reads book club. Celeste Sollod, the Baltimore Bibliophile, will be joining us again in February to share her top picks for craft books in the Conversation Corner at the Baltimore ACC show. She’ll also be blogging about her selections in early Feburary. Follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #accreads.
