Emerging Voices Awards

Emerging Voices Awards

The Emerging Voices Awards recognize and support the next generation of makers and thinkers in the fields of contemporary craft, decorative arts, and design. The biennial awards recognize one winner among five shortlisted emerging artists and one emerging scholar, critic, or contributor to the field for their body of published or unpublished work across all media. The ACC Emerging Voices Awards are made possible by the generous support of the John & Robyn Horn Foundation.

Every other year the ACC will solicit nominations for the Emerging Voices Awards from a select body of artists, scholars, educators, critics, curators, and collectors. From those nominations artists will be invited to submit materials for consideration by the jurors. Invitation, material submission, and review typically occur during the fall, with the award winner and finalists being announced the following spring.
