Join us for a pop-up event at the Oak Street Plaza during the Oakland Museum of California's Friday Nights at OMCA event series, which features live music, half-off museum admission, food trucks, docent tours, lawn games, and more.
The first 500 guests to visit the ACC booth will receive a reusable tote bag featuring a vintage design from our archives. Feel free to stay and color it in with fabric markers provided on-site by our generous partner, Dharma Trading Co.
We also have two exciting artist demonstrations lined up:
- From 5 to 7:30 p.m., encaustic artist Eileen P. Goldenberg will demonstrate her process and invite guests to try encaustic painting.
- From 8 to 9 p.m., Audrey Jung of Audrey Modern will demonstrate riveting and embossing techniques, which she uses to create her felt and leather bags.
