Now in its 33rd year, this event features items made by more than 120 of New England’s finest artists and craftspeople. The Laudholm festival features consistently high quality pieces, whether products are practical, inspirational, whimsical, or dignified. Artists in the juried event work with a variety of media, including precious metals, fabric, clay, glass, and wood. Music and local food round out the 2-day festival. 

The event is a critical fundraiser that benefits education, conservation, and scientific research at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve. The reserve encompasses more than 2,000 acres of protected lands on the southwest coast of Maine. This festival takes place on a high point above salt marshes and beaches accessible by a 7-mile system of trails.
