Saturday March 7, 2020, marks the opening day of the 41st Quilt and Cloth Doll show presented by the Manteca Quilters. The show boasts more than 100 quilts, soft dolls, and wearable arts exhibitions. This year marks the first year to include a special exhibition presented by the Silicon Valley Modern Quilt Guild. Also featured will be an interactive quilt exhibition and an "Old Fashioned Bed Turning."

This year's featured artist is quiltmaker and pattern designer Cindy Thompson. Cindy is best known for her award-winning art quilts inspired by photographs. She uses a variety of techniques and materials to create stunning works of art. Her designs have been published in art quilting books, displayed at galleries, and viewed at numerous juried quilt shows across the nation. Her art quilt "Reigning Prince" is currently traveling with the "Cherrywood Challenge Prince" exhibition honoring the late musician.
