Destanie recently received a BA in journalism from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Although new to the local arts scene, she has always enjoyed creating art with words and learning about art history and techniques. She hopes to continue her work and education as a writer for the arts within the Minneapolis community and explore it in other parts of the world someday.
