Craft Scotland Showcase at 2017 American Craft Show in Baltimore
We’re thrilled to announce that Craft Scotland will be bringing a delegation of talented makers to the 2017 American Craft Show in Baltimore on February 24 – 26.
Craft Scotland’s mission is to “unite, inspire, and champion craft in Scotland.” In 2011, the organization showcased 25 makers at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. Eight of those makers will be part of the Baltimore showcase.
ACC’s director of marketing, Pamela Diamond, says of the partnership: ”As the leading nonprofit championing craft in the United States, ACC firmly believes in the value and inspiration that exchanging ideas, cultural influences, and methods of making can provide for both artists and show attendees alike. We look forward to hosting this exciting showcase of 20 artists representing Scotland’s fresh and contemporary take on craft."
