Inside the Artist's Studio: Lisa Valley of That's Artsy
On Mondays, we take you inside the studio of one of our show artists so you can get to know these inspiring makers.
Lisa Valley is the ceramic artist behind That's Artsy. Based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Lisa has been working in clay for 15 years and exhibits at our St. Paul American Craft Show through our emerging artist program. Learn about the techniques she uses to create her distinctive pottery – mishima slip inlay, brush work, sgraffito, and more – and how she's adapted her practice in response to the pandemic. @lisavalley
With craft shows across the country being canceled, makers need your support. Please take a moment to shop their work online.
