“Present Tense” officially kicked off with a featured presentation given by Otto von Busch, an associate professor of integrated design at Parsons School of Design. Von Busch’s effusive energy filled Kaneko and definitely set the tone for the weekend. Check out the video below to hear his perspectives on craft as both a commodity and a capability, and the social role of craft as a type of “hacktivism.”
