I am a Japan-trained textile artist inspired by the aesthetic and perfection demonstrated in Japan's kogei artistic traditions. I work with natural fibers that I dye by hand using natural materials, primarily plant materials that I source in my neighborhood, and then weave on a traditional floor loom. I create both wearable works such a shawls as well as tapestries for interior design. My works seek new homes with textile lovers who appreciate the aesthetic and the detail in their creation.
