Each sculptural assemblage begins in the unknown. Sometimes, I acquire the shapes from furniture cutouts... and make more shapes to create a harmonious composition in space… in the round. The solid wood forms are more thought out... inspired by symbols, natural forms in nature, or shapes in our environment. Presentation is an important aspect of the work, as it needs proper visual distance to read the over-all shape/s and composition.
