After an apprenticeship with a master potter in 1995 I began my journey with clay, my best and most loyal friend. My inspiration comes from my Northwoods surroundings and the majestic Lake Superior, ever changing and evolving as I do. My work is highly textured, both slab built and wheel thrown, with earth tones and blues, perfect for the mantle or the dinner table. My handles are perfected after decades of forming and I'm honored to be a part of people's daily nourishment rituals.
