I enjoyed creating jewelry as a child-seed necklaces-bracelets-rings made from acorn cups. To me jewelry holds emotional and historical value. I treasured my Mother's stories of Grandparents as I held wedding bands or held an ivory daisy pin. Training in formal metal-smithing skills led me to learn cloisonné enameling as my artistic tool of expression. Still inspired by environment, my designs- colors-and textures refer a musical sense of movement, as I create the heirlooms of tomorrow.
