I started making jewelry by learning to cut stones in Korea when I was twelve. Fifty years and two Art degrees later, I’m still excited, still exploring, and still feeling gratitude at how lucky I am to do what I do. Along with traditional jewelry materials, I gather those that say “nature” to me, also using recycled materials that remind me of the choice not to discard, but repurpose. I hope my audience also finds those feelings of appreciation and responsibility in my work.
