A question often asked about my work is, Do I put it on the floor or on the wall? Despite a fine arts background, I shrug off the labels of utility vs. decoration. My one-of-a-kind, handtufted rugs are part of the long tradition of marrying beauty to functionality in what may be the ultimate luxury of art. I am also one of the rare textile artists who design and make each rug myself. The work reflects the hand.
