Spanish sculptor Rafael “Rafa” Perez partners an educated control of the material with the independent actions of the fire. He juxtaposes porcelain and black earthenware clay bodies and layers of glaze to create tension between materials during the firing process. This event is open to the public; advance registration is required as seating is limited.
