Find inspiration by listening to Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. In response to the iconic speech, participants will be led through image making on small handmade porcelain bowls. Kevin Snipes will engage participants in artistic expression by sharing his personal experiences as an African-American ceramic artist. 

Learn the pinch technique from Kevin Snipes to form the bowls and then use underglaze colors to ornament them. The finished pieces will later be glazed and fired.
