Within the pristine white walls of this award-winning contemporary art museum, RAM presents an untraditional exhibition, now in its eleventh year, showcasing art made from or inspired by fluffy, sugarcoated marshmallow PEEPS®. Artists of all ages are invited to welcome spring by creating PEEP art for the only museum competition of its kind in the world.
Over the years, many entrants have become experts at using marshmallow candy as a material, utilizing methods such as carving, painting, hole-punching, and gluing, to manipulate PEEPS® into incredible shapes. Last year, Richard W. Marklin, Jr. melted a flock of PEEPS® to make a realistic barnyard bird, "Raul the Rooster;" while April Harris and Autumn Kyle assembled the holiday treats into a bust of a Marvel© superhero, the "Black Panther Peeper."
