For over 20 years, June has been a highlight for the ceramic community of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. Hosting a six-hour event filled with slip, flames and sweat, members and guests demonstrate their skilld behind the wheel or over a kiln, alongside the precision and patience of surface design and handbuilding. In conjunction with the free opportunities of experiential learning from master artisans, Southern Highland Clay Fest has a new expanded element of booths filled with the charm and beauty of potters’ goods. Ceramic wares of both decoration and function will be available for purchase.
