Polly Leonard studied embroidery and weaving at The Glasgow School of Art before a decade-long career in teaching led her to launch Selvedge. The brand now encompasses a magazine, an educational program, and an event that promotes the preservation of cultural heritage as well as the production of economically and environmentally sustainable textiles by supporting makers from around the world.
