American Craft magazine took home 14 awards for writing, editorial, and design at the 2016 Minnesota Magazine & Publishing competition.

The magazine's success includes six golds, most notably for overall excellence and overall design in the Association Under 30,000 circulation category. American Craft was also awarded top ranking for cover design, feature design, profile article, and editor's letter.

The magazine earned silver awards for cover design, feature design, single page or spread design, profile article, and editor's letter. Its bronze awards include single page or spread design, profile article, and editor's letter.

American Craft's MMPA awards follow another impressive honor: The publication received first place for general excellence among nonprofit association magazines at Folio's 2016 Eddie and Ozzie Awards. The competition is the largest national contest for magazines. An honorable mention for overall design was also awarded to the bimonthly.
