Style Slam Stylist Spotlight: Chelsea Arzu
American Craft Show in San Francisco
What is your company name? CulturebyCollectives
How do you define your signature style?
The best way to define my signature style is Tomboy Chic. I have a knack for incorporating menswear pieces and bringing a feminine touch. The color black is always my go to, but I enjoy adding pops of color through accessories. There’s nothing wrong with a woman shopping in the men’s section from time to time! I love a balance of masculinity and feminism. It creates an interesting ensemble that can result in many compliments.
What's your favorite style tip?
Always have a red pump handy, wear colors that complement your complexion, and think about statement accessories.
Who are your ACC show artist picks?
- Lynda Bahr: This earring set brings forth an inviting mix of metals that create a cultural look. With a messy updo, this piece can really be an eye-catcher.
- Mary Jaeger: This oversized coat is a great representation of today's street fashion trends. The dramatic collar and placement of the tie-dye print makes this a really special piece.
- Laura Jaklitsch: The play on texture and color in this necklace creates such a delicate effect. When looking at this piece, I would definitely pair this with swimwear.
- Audrey Jung: In today's society, your working woman wears a messenger. Myself included. The contrast of the smooth leather to the rough wool-like texture creates harmony. I would wear this with a cropped pair of slacks and a nice white blouse for a meeting in the city.
- Sandra Enterline: There's an architectural quality about this necklace that is interesting. It could provide a subtle-yet-bold statement to a look.
